Which is why eating this weekend was completely out of control. I'm fairly certain that working out 5 days a week and doing push ups, pull ups and box jumps equals one stick of salami and multiple bowls of brownie mint ice cream. Or is this sabotage? Sigh. deep breath, sigh. I'm back on the bandwagon this Monday with only a couple dozen handfuls of frosted shredded mini wheats that I'm pretty sure don't count because I am NOT GOING TO WRITE THEM DOWN.
When does life go back to normal when I ate whatever I wanted and sat on the couch making adorable baby objects?
Damn it, this is hard..........
Other fun news. I finally got a print from that awesome photo shoot we did with
Fresh Art and then after hitting up three discount stores I found the perfect frame on the fourth and final attempt.
P.S. I got this print for Sam for Valentines Day from this
sweet shop COZY BLUE.
And this cupcake shirt that Poppy received for her birthday is the bane of my existence. She wore it for for five days straight last week and then when I finally got it off her to wash she asked me every 2 seconds if it was clean yet. She has also asked me to find her cupcake boots to go with it. Awesome.
Before you leave I must show you the newest waxed linen treasures in the gremadcha
Etsy shop. I swear to you they are much prettier in person I am just a TERRIBLE picture taker. I plan on making more for me to keep because I love they way they look mixed with a sterling necklace, a pretty t-shirt and jeans.
Now you are all caught up. Today upper body body work out and planting peas.
At least it's a non-Dora cupcake t-shirt. ;o)
ReplyDeleteSo true! Poppy actually looked at me last night and said, "Why I have all these Dora's?"
DeleteDon't feel frustrated. You are doing great. Most people hit a bump in the road along life style changes and the comfort food really does comfort for a few minutes. You will be fine and all the reasons you are working so hard will come to mind and you will stop resenting the things you lost and be so grateful for the things you have that make the work worthwhile. Hang in there - you can and will do this.
ReplyDeleteOh dear stitchinpenny, THANK YOU for always showing up and sharing your wisdom with me! I really appreciate all your kind words and encouragement. Yesterday I realized I have gone from XXL shirts to a MEDIUM. That is CRAZY and something I thought was hopeless just a year ago. Worth watching what I eat:)
DeleteThese necklaces are amazing! I want all your readers to know that I have purchased several of the bracelets that are similar to these necklaces and they are incredible. The pictures do not do them justice. They are a very artsy, feminine look but are actually very sturdy. The colors are so interesting and lovely that it's a very pleasant surprise when you open your package. I wear a few with sterling and ALWAYS get compliments and have given several as gifts which everyone loves. I know the people I've gifted mean it because I see them wearing them on a regular basis. I have ordered many of Greta's items(once I ordered my first item I was hooked. She is so talented & fabulous to work with)and every single thing is so much better "in person." However, the bracelets were her biggest kept secret so far. I was blown away when I opened the first I ordered. I am sure these necklaces are no different. I can't say enough about Greta's work-she is creative, talented, AMAZING with color and all of her pieces are works of art. By the way, I don't personally know Greta so she has no idea I am commenting(I'm not one to comment) but I read her blog and was drawn to her Etsy Shop which I have never regretted.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work in all areas of your life Greta!
